Up for bid is one nice Laser Safety Shutter from a research facility (LAST ONE). Machined from solid aluminum and stainless steel, then Nickel plated for durability and resistance against corrosive chemicals and gasses. The shutter body measures 5.25in.high x 4.34in. wide x 1.5in thick and weighs about 4lbs. This is a very nice piece of craftsmanship. These are custom made and brand new in producers packaging. Instead of shutting down your Laser every time you want to make an optics adjustment ,just close the shutter to block the beam instead. Great idea for continuous Lasers.
