Laser Teslin Paper SPID1000 QTY: 100 Laser Printable (both sides) 10 mil, 8.5" x 11" Sheets Can Produce 8 Credit Card Size (3.375" x 2.125") ID Badges Per Sheet Forms a Solid, Borderless Card Once Laminated Non-Perforated Laser Teslin® Paper (SPID1000) is designed for use with laser printers, offset presses, and photocopy/xerox machines. These sheets are not perforated, and they should not be used in Inkjet printers (perforated sheets and Inkjet Teslin® are available though, see our eBay Store). We recommend these sheets for those wishing to make larger documents, as well as those who own a Heavy Duty ID Die Cutter. SPID 1000 Teslin® is chemically treated to allow toner to adhere more strongly than other types of Teslin sheets. Please note: Other companies sell Teslin® TS and SP grades as "Laser Teslin®". We do not recommend either of these grades for use with Laser/photocopy/xerox machines. According to PPG Industries, Inc. (the manufacturer of Teslin®): "Teslin® TS substrate works best in applications that involve preprinted, fixed graphics before the material is laser printed with variable information." Only "Teslin® SPID substrate is intended for applications where the entire printing process will be done by xerographic processes. It has a faster and more reliable throughput compared to other synthetics." Although both TS and SP grades of Teslin® substrate may work, neither is the recommended grade of Teslin® for best results and compatibility with laser printers, offset presses, and photocopy/xerox machines. Teslin® Substrate is a water proof printable plastic material and is ideal for use anytime you need to ensure your printed documents are safe from the elements. It is also puncture and tear resistant. The primarily application is for use in making ID cards, but you can also use it for printing topographical maps and directions for hiking trips, for outdoor signage, event tickets, permits, underwater tags, garden labels, menus, luggage tags, and many other uses. This 5-Pack is enough to make 40 credit card size IDs (8 ID cards per sheet of paper).
