For Sale is a Kent 1340 Gap lathe which when the gap is removed will swing over 18". I bought this machine new and have only put about 20 hours on it. The paint is like new, it is powered by 220 SINGLE PHASE which can be run off of house current without using a phase converter. It has a foot brake to stop the spindle, the spindle speeds range from 70 - 2,000 rpm's, the machine will cut American standard and metric threads. In the tool box is additional gears to change to a wide multitude of threads and feeds, flood coolant, work light, it has a D1-4 spindle nose for mounting all of the accessories. The machine will come with all of the attachments that you see in the pictures, 6 1/2" three jaw chuck with reversible jaws, 8" 4 jaw chuck which has never been used (still in the box), 12" Face plate (never used), 5-C collet chuck, brand new mounting plate for additional chucks (never used), carriage stop with turn multiple stops, quick change tool post with 5 tool holders including turning and boring and knurling with knurling wheels, all chuck wrenches, spindle chip guard, steady rest (never used), follow rest (never used), dead center sleeve for spindle, dead center for tail stock, 3/4" drill chuck, live center, and a additional chip guard for the carriage.
