Precision-ground, heat-treated tools made from M2 high-speed steel • Use in 3/8" or 1/2" hand-held drills or permanent drill presses • Holes are round and clean and require little or no additional finishing • Kit contains all six cutters, both arbor assemblies with pilot drills, hex key and spacer washer, in a molded plastic storage box Sheet Metal and Permanent Fabrications Plate Fabrications Tubing or Channels • For making large holes in sheet metal and other materials • For sheet metal, rubber, gasket and fiber materials and some plastics up to 3/16" thick Benefits for Electricians: • An excellent alternative to hole saws when cutting large holes in electrical boxes and control panels • No more jagged, out-of-round holes • Cuts through material, rather than ripping, tearing and pushing through, as typical hole saws do Benefits for Fabricators: • Cuts clean, accurate, large holes in fabrications and plate products with either hand-held or stationary drills • Faster and cleaner than hole saws and easier than flame-cutting • Will give you thousands of holes with less operator fatigue
