I bough several parts from a man, I got this mag with the deal. Impulse springs seams strong, I will check later to see if it is hot or not. I can not say for sure, but believe the 19 tooth gear is for the smaller size of 1 1/2- 2 1/2 hp ?  The back plate, that mounts to the engine has been broken and welded. That casting part number is 8928 D. the numbers on the aluminum part is HI 65 193 A and 8551 DX On Dec-02-14 at 16:13:36 PST, seller added the following information: The old man that had these two mags I have listed liked to work on things, it appears to me that this one has a new coil, and maybe condenser, but it is low on spark. I had to clean the points, which look new. I wonder if it has a wire wrong some where. I was also told that when you take these apart to install a new coil, that you have to horse shoe the magnet, or it looses its pull. I assume this one needs a charge to the magnet. I really do not know.
