Sterilized LB (Luria Bertani) Agar 350ml + 10, 100mm x 15mm sterile plates Highest Quality, Laboratory Grade LB Agar Available! Fresh Stock: Not Prepared Until Ordered!  Ships via 2 Day Priority Mail, Refrigerate Upon Receipt.  8-12 week Shelf Life. Directions: *Loosen Lid on LB Agar Container *Microwave on High for 2-3 minutes until LB Agar boils vigorously without boiling over *Rest for 30 seconds *Microwave at Power Level 2 (20%) for 2 more minutes *Rest for 20 minutes *Portion into petri dishes (place lids back on petri dishes) and allow to cool for several hour or overnight *Proceed with experiments Highest Quality Laboratory Grade LB Agar Available   FORMULA: 25% Tryptone, 13% Yeast Extract, 25% NaCl, 38% Agar   LB Agar is a microbiological growth medium commonly used for the routine cultivation of non-fastidious bacteria. It is useful because it remains solid even at relatively high temperatures.
