Items are shipped within 24 horus of receipt of payment. Ingots are shipped with rigid foam board protectors to prevent failure of shipping box in transport which can happen with softer peanuts or bubble wrap. I can not reduce the cost on multiple purchases as I can only fit so many ingots into a medium flat rate box. USES: Bullet Reloading, Sinkers, Divers Weights, etc. If used for re-loading, this is pure lead so you can use the standard Brinell hardness charts for adding tin and antimony for your specific use. If not using a hardening alloy, keep your velocities to under 800 fps to reduce barrel fouling. For Sinkers, Divers Weight, etc, use as is. SOURCE & PURITY: This is 100% Pure Soft Lead. It is NOT used bullets, wheel weights, scrap, or from any other source. All Ingots I am selling are cast from a single source of pure lead. All lead is from a single 8,000 pound lead ballast off a 2 masted 42 foot long schooner (sailboat), built in Nova Scotia in 1952 using then pure virgin lead from an operating Canadian lead mine. You are getting all of the benefits of pure virgin lead, without contributing to the environmental issues of recently mined lead. All Ingots are cast on a weekly basis, so all are bright and fresh with no oxidation. All melted lead is fluxed prior to the pour. A bottom pour furnace pot is used.
