This is a well-used leather apron with a lot of character from a commercial roofing business. I think it was usually worn by the person tending the tar wagon. It measures 23 inches across the top and it's about 36 inches long. The leather strings go through metal grommets. The center seam connecting the left and right sides is reinforced with a metal rivet (rusted) at the top and bottom. The leather feels rubbery, some stiffness. Not sure how much of the grime and stains could come out with a cleaning.
