leather sewing Union lockstitch saddle hoister machine selling a Union lockstitch sewing machine. A leather stitcher of proven design , for over 100 years. That is still available and used in industry today. The sewing machine uses a hook and awl stitching method. Allowing it to stitch heavy thick leather. Like is used in horse saddle, gun hoisters , knife sheathes, footballs, anywhere a heavy leather need stitching. This machine was bought from Randall leather machinery. in the late 80's. and from that time . saw little use from a leather craft hobbyist. and the past 8 years sat unused. I threaded it with some hand awl sewing thread. And sewed a piece of leather, That I folded. ( see photo ) with the machine. The motor has a small pulley on it. So the sewing machine is at the right speed for a beginner or for sewing intricate items. I will include a larger pulley. For faster sewing speed. I made a photo album. with lots of pictures of the machine... --- to see the photos...........
