Light-Up Your work-space or living space for less ! Low Power consumption -Very bright , Very efficient. These kit of 6 panels is roughly equivalent to 1000W Filament bulb light brightness ! Ultra-Bright, 80xLED, 48cm long rigid PCB LED Strips at an absolute bargain price ! Possibly the best bang for the buck when it comes to DIY LED-Lighting.. The most Cost-effective and Energy-Efficient way to light up ! 80xLED /Strip – extremely high brightness and high light output. These Strips use the very efficient LEDs that generate a very minimal amount of heat and are extremely bright ! Available in both, Cool-White and Warm-White Color temperatures A very wide-spread flood-light with 160-170 degrees beam angle. There are 10 parallel groups of LEDs per strip ; each group consists of 8 LEDs connected in series (3.3v-3.5v per LED) each group of 8 LEDs is about 48mm long, with soldering pads on each end… These Strips can be cut every 4.8 cm if required. Each group of 8 LEDs has a mounting hole in the middle suitable for a small mounting screw. Strip dimensions: 480mm L x 17mm W x 3.3mm H Electrical Parameters vs temperature (& longevity): 0.21A @ 25v = 5.25 W – runs pretty cool 0.28A @ 26v = 7.28 W – runs luke-warm 0.37A @ 27v = 10 W – runs warm 0.45A @ 28v = 12.6 W -runs warm-hot (best to be mounted onto a heat-dissipating surface) 0.58A @ 29v = 16.8 W - Hot-warm !. (best to be mounted onto a heat-dissipating surface) 0.69A @ 29.5v = 20.4 W - Hot-Warm !! (should be mounted onto a heat dissipating surface to ensure long life )– I have been test running these at 29.5v as a test for many months now un-attached to any heat sinking surface to see if they actually fail or not. And so far there have been no signs of any LEDs failing or burning out.. And the amount of light these panels throw out at 29v is just phenomenal ! Needless to say I am very impressed with these LED panels !! Lights up the room like a mild mid-afternoon Sunny Day-Light !! (literally) (so very bright ) From our experience a 3x9m room lit up by 3 of these strips at 28-29v produces a subjective light brightness - comparable to that of a mild SUN-LIGHT on a fine day. – this means basically it is really quite bright ! - and one strip can light up an area of about 2x3m very efficiently! About LEDs in general : The longevity of any LED assembly will depend squarely on it’s operating temperature.. LEDs in general do not like excessive heat as it leads to “Current Thermal Run-Away Effect” which is the single most common reason why LEDs burn out. Running these strips off 28v and 29v DC has been time-tested by yours truly and the overheating has never been an issue at this voltages. Running these strips at voltages over 30v DC is not recommended as it may reduce their longevity unless a special care is taken with heat dissipation and current control, eg: Constant Current Driver Circuit… PSU included! : We also supply a matching (and amazingly well priced) 28v Power supply for these Strips. The PSU is Adjustable between 20v-and-30v. This PSU can run up to 6-12 LED Strips in total -5A max. * I made my installation DIMMABLE by simply replacing the PSU's internal Trimpot with external Potentiometer. Comparing these panels to a typical Rigid 12v 72xLED / 1m Strips in an Aluminium Channel : our 48cm panels are more efficient and produce far less heat and consume less power for the same amount of light output.. Also the higher operating voltage (28-29v) means less current required for the same wattage - which means less power is wasted in the supplying wires and thinner wires can be used.. ---- Included in this Kit are : 6x LED Panels + 1x 28v (adjustable) Power supply if you require more panels - please let me know and we can upgrade/ modify your purchase.. 0402687241
