Offered is a LED controller kit.    The completed kit is shown in the first picture connected to a 1 Watt LED on a heatsink.  The LED and heatsink are not included in this kit.   All the parts needed to build the conntroller PCB, as shown in picture 2, along with an instruction manual and schematic are included.     This controller is a current mode switching regulator.   It operates with an input voltage of 8 - 25 VDC.   It regulates the LED current, maintaining a constant brightness.   Three different resistor values are included for differnt wattage LEDs.    Instead of fixed value resistors a potentiometer can be used.   This allows the LED to be dimmed smoothly from full brightness to a very dim glow.   This supply can also be used to power laser diodes, DC motors, or other current mode devices.
