These two compressors regulate the cryochamber which cools down to -35°C and the specimen clamp temperature down to -50°C. Comes equipped with a specimen cooling feature which assists in easier sectioning of fatty specimens and a programmable automatic hot gas defrost function. When using the slower forward coarse feed in conjunction with a rocking motion of the handwheel, the operator can quickly trim away excess OCT and achieve full face of the specimen with ease. A two speed motorized coarse feed moves the specimen toward or away from knife quickly. The section thickness settings range from 1 to 60 um. The easy to use control panel offers a self-explanatory function keys with an easy to read LED display that prevents operating errors.
