Our Biomedical Engineering Department disassembled it, cleaned it, reassembled it, lubricated, tested and calibrated it and then refinished it. It now works as great as it looks. The 2030 has proven to be the workhorse of histology labs the world over. This microtome operates smoothly and quietly and includes a disposable blade holder for high profile blades.
