The Leica RM2145 Microtome is a highly versatile and easy-to-use rotary microtome designed specifically for paraffin specimens in routine and research applications. Its ergonomic design makes it a popular choice among histologists and laboratory technicians. This Leica Microtome is equipped with a single-handed quick release specimen clamping system and a programmable specimen retraction. This system also boasts a clear LED display of section thickness and section count, a motorized coarse advance operation using a rocker button, a fast and safe specimen orientation with anti-tilt function, and a universal knife holder. Featuring an automated coarse specimen advance feature, the Leica RM2145 Microtome offers three trimming increments that can also be performed manually. What's more, its newly designed 'step motor operated micrometer feed system' provides precise advance by the selected section thickness, ensuring consistent section thickness and high reproducible section quality. Additionally, the Leica RM2145 Microtome comes with a maintenance-friendly design and an audio-visual-warning signal to indicate remaining specimen feed. All these features make the Leica RM2145 Microtome an ideal choice for histologists and laboratory technicians who demand precision and efficiency in their work.
