This is a Leroi 550A by Dresser. I bought two of these about 3 years ago together from the same Harley Davidson shop. When I bought them from the original owner, he said they were both working fine, he just replaced them, about a month before I bought them, when he built a new shop and showroom. Since I was going to build a new complete compressor from ground up, I decided to just go ahead and rebuild one of them for me. I completely disassemble one and rebuilt it. After having got into the compressor, I probably could have used it just like it was. There was minimal wear on the internals. I was going to keep this one in case I ever needed parts. But I have not had any issues with the one I rebuilt and have no use for this compressor now. Having said all of that, I have not been inside of the one I am selling and cannot guarantee it's condition. So therefore I am going to list and sell as "Not working, for parts only" The rebuild kits are easy to find and some are here on Ebay. This compressor has been inside my shop since I've had it and not out in the weather. This is a pickup item only!!! This thing is very heavy. I will help you load it in whatever you are driving.
