Complete set of letterpress wood type characters One more excellent opportunity to buy a complete set of wooden printing characters in a good condition. We have counted 149 pieces, we hope, that we did not make any mistake on counting, but you will see, what you get on the close-up photos below. Each character measures 90 mm: 3.54 inch and 100 mm - 3.94 inch. We have removed some dust, but did no full cleaning. However, as you can see on the photos, the printing blocks are in good condition. There are some holes of wood worms, who are no longer active. We think that the type should be from the Art Deco time, so therefor from around 1930. The characters were stored up to now in drawers, this is a gorgeous and exceptionnel set of characters. Please be sure, that a carefull packaging will be done for the characters, so nothing will hurt the characters on transport. We do not actually have all our wood type sets on ebay, so if you send us your email address, we can send you pics of some more type sets, which we have for sale.
