Complete set of letterpress wood type characters One more excellent opportunity to buy a complete set of german wooden printing characters. As you will see on the detailed photos below, there are lower case, upper case, numbers, punctuation, diacritics (Umlauts), digraphs, accents - just all !! We have not found even one character missing - we think it is a complete set.  You will find more informations about the german alphabet if you have a look on Wikipedia "german alphabet". We have counted 274 pieces, we hope, that we did not make any mistake on counting, but you will see, what you get on the close-up photos below. Each character measures 90 mm: 3.54 inch and those with descenders 4.41 inch (112 mm). We have removed some dust, but did no full cleaning. However, as you can see on the photos, the printing blocks are in excellent condition. The characters were stored up to now in drawers, this is a gorgeous, exceptionnel and huge set of characters. Please be sure, that a carefull packaging will be done for the characters, so nothing will hurt the characters on transport.
