 You are bidding on One Lexion Insuflow 6198-SC INSUFLOW LAPROSCOPIC GAS CONDITIONING DEVICE - carefully warms and humidifies CO2 gas to reduce the most negative effects of laparoscopic surgery - while boosting patient's chances for a much quicker recovery WHY TO USE THIS DEVICE: Traditional carbon dioxide (CO2) gas used for insufflation is cold and dry.  Delivery of cold CO2 is approximately 70F, far below normal body temperature of 98F.  Delivery of dry CO2 at 0% relative humidity is 10,000x drier than the Sahara Desert.  Delivery of cold, dry CO2 creates an environment that is extremely unnatural within the warm, wet abdomen. Cold, dry CO2 gas contributes to cell desiccation of peritoneal tissue at an accelerated rate and increases inflammatory response, post-operative pain and hypothermia for laparoscopic patients. By contrast, the Insuflow Device warms and humidifies CO2 gas to 95F and 95% relative humidity and provides patients with a quicker recovery both at the hospital and at home.
