This is a US Navy P250 MOD2 firefighting pump powered by an OMC 55HP outboard motor powerhead. It was designed to be used to either fight fires or move water from inside flooded compartments. This was a used for Training purposes so it really didn't see much use at all! The Hour counter still reads 0000. PRODUCES 250 GPM @ 1.25 PSI - 16-20FT. LIFT, UP TO 400 GPM @ 80 PSIG AND TAKES A 3" SUCTION HOSE AND 2 1/2" DISCHARGE HOSE WITH NST FEMALE THREADS. POWERED BY OIL INJECTED, 2 CYLINDER, 2 CYCLE STANDARD OMC 55 HP OUTBOARD POWERHEAD AND USES BIA-TCW 2 CYCLE ENGINE OIL. Water Cooled. There are plenty of possible uses for this pump or even just the parts. Great for a fire department to make a brush truck, for a marina to pump water, a person in a brush fire prone area to keep on hand, Use it to drain your pool. Use it on your boat or yacht as a safety precaution just in case you take on a lot of water or have an onboard Fire. I will ship it at buyers expense otherwise I will give you 30 days to make arrangements to pick it up locally here at my business in Fort Wayne Indiana . I can help load it as well.
