LINCOLN ELECTRIC Innershield NR-232 Flux Core Carbon Steel 27 LBS 0.072 IN Description: Lincoln Electric® Innershield® NR®-232 Self Shielded Flux Core Carbon Steel Tubular Welding Wire with 0.072" Dia is made for high deposition, out-of-position welding for structural fabrication in seismic zones. It is ideal for single/ multiple pass welding of 3/16 in and heavier carbon steel. It features penetrating arc and has high deposition rates for out-of-position welding. It features fast freezing, easy slag removal system. Wire comes on a 13 1/2 lb coil. It meets AWS D1.8 seismic lot waiver standards. It finds applications in general plate fabrication, hull plate and stiffener welding on ships as well as barges, machinery parts, tanks, hoppers, racks and scaffolding. It renders quality welds in moderate wind conditions without tenting. Wire with impact properties is capable of exceeding 27 J at -29 deg C. It conforms AWS A5.20/A5.20M: 2005: E71T-8-H16, ASME SFA-A5.20: E71T-8 H16, ABS: 3YSA, Lloyd’s Register: 3YS H15, DNV Grade: III YMS H15, GL: 3YH10S, BV Grade: SA3YMH, CWB/CSA W48-06: E491T-8 H16, DB: EN 758 T42 3 Y N 2, TUV: EN 758 T42 3 Y N 2, FEMA 353 and AWS D1.8 standards.
