Product Description This Lind Equipment AV50GW aviation static grounding assembly consists of two cast aluminum hand clamps connected by 50' of 3/32" plated steel cable for conductivity. It is suitable for grounding and bonding aircraft for dissipation of static electricity during flammable material transfer operations. The clamps have plated steel jaws for attachment to curved, unpainted grounding surfaces and meet MIL-SPEC standard M83413/7-1 for grounding of aircraft. The 3/32" plated steel cable is covered with a yellow PVC (polyvinyl chloride) jacket for visibility, and has an outside diameter (OD) of 5/32". Each end of the cable has an anti-snag wye for automatic release of the clamp when pulled by the cable. This aviation grounding assembly is suitable for use with aircraft, refueling vehicles, and curved, unpainted metal grounding surfaces in flammable material transfer operations.Lind Equipment manufactures portable lighting, portable power, electrical safety, and static grounding products.
