You just might discover something else you really don't need! You are bidding on a 'Vintage' piece of Telephone Equipment. This is a 'LINEMAN'S REPAIR TESTER PHONE!' This is sometimes referred to a a 'TEST SET!' I'm guessing it is from around the 1960's, (Not Sure). This has a 'ROTARY DIAL!' Rotary Dial? What the heck is that? This is in 'VERY GOOD ~ USED' condition. This has an 'ON & OFF' switch, (You can see this in the picture). This has a 'Hook ~ Clip' for the lineman to hang on his belt. The 2 Long Lines are in 'Very Good' condition. SPECIFICS: PICTURES: I'm showing several pictures; This is so you might get a better view; Please incorporate, consider, & use the pictures as an integral part of the description; They should be of assistance regarding the Quality & Condition. MEASUREMENTS: PHONE: This measures about 10 1/2" Long; About 3 1/2" in Diameter, (Across the Dial Area). LINES: These measure about 57" to 58" Long, (Including the Alligator Clips). ALLIGATOR CLIPS: These measure about 4" Long. These have a 'Very Strong Bite'; There is a small Spike that would allow the repairmen to pierce or puncture the Phone Line; This would allow the repairman to 'TAP' into the line. MATERIAL & CONDITION: This seems to be Very Well constructed; Very Strong Hard Rubber; The entire piece contains the Mouthpiece; Earpiece; Rotary Dial. BELT CLIP: This is in 'Very Good' condition; The Spring Guard is 'Strong;' Will securely Attach & Hold to your utility belt.
