The actual age of the batteries are unknown, but they charge in about an hour and ran my desktop setup for 2 1/2 hours. Read complete test results below. Test Results I plugged the unit in to charge, and immediately the CHARGING LEDs began to illuminate. The unit was fully charged in approximately 1 hour. I unplugged the power strip my office computer was plugged into, and plugged it into the Lionville iPoint.3. I worked as I normally do, streaming ESPN Radio, editing photos, writing, printing, and in about 2 1/2 hours the batteries died. I charged them back up [about an hour] and repeated the test with same results. No computer included in sale. I have the codes for the electronic locking system, but I do not have the physical key to manually unlock the cart. All the drawers lock and unlock electronically as designed.
