This is a steel knife for a microtome or cryostat manufactured by Lipshaw. It is 12 cm long and includes a detachable handle see pictures) which aids in sharpening and also enables you to use it as a hand knife. It comes in its original steel case. The knife and handle are in good condition but the knife has corrosion spots (see pictures). The knife edge is very sharp.
