12V DC-DC High current step up power module with heatsink Input DC 4V~11V, output 12V,3A  40Watt This is a high efficiency switching mode "step up" 12v regulator with high current output. The module has a heat sink mounted so overheated is minimal. Output is regulated to DC12V with low noise. It is perfect fit for all old classic vehicle, boat, or bike with 6V electric system but need 12V for modem electronics equipment like a GPS or radio. Of course it works great for solar system by stabilize it's output . No pigtail required. Note: - It's a DIY unit. We don't tech how to mount it or install. - It will not boost power so if input power is low, you will get enough output current. Example: Input 6V, output 12V 2A. Then the battery or power sources  must be able to provide 4A or more current.  Specification Input: DC 4v ~ 11V Power: 40Watt max  Output:DC 12V Current: 2.5A  3A max Isolated output: No Common Ground : Yes Size (LxWxH):50mm * 50mm * 24mm (2"x2"x1.0") Weight: 5oz Note: If input voltage is more than 12V, the out of "12V" will become a voltage follower and output is proportional to the input.
