This product comes in various packaging sizes, including 4-gram foil packs, 2.8 oz. Epoxi Patch Tube Kits, 50 ml and 200 ml EPS cartridges, and quart, one-gallon, and five-gallon systems. This product requires mixing the two components together just before application. Complete mixing is necessary, and the separate components should be close to room temperature. Customers can use cartridges or bulk mixing depending on their preference. Bonding surfaces should be clean and dry before applying the adhesive, and the bonded parts should remain in contact until the adhesive develops handling strength. The LOCTITE Hysol E-05CL can achieve handling strength in 5-10 minutes at 77 degrees Fahrenheit, but complete cure is obtained after 24 hours at room temperature. To reuse partially used cartridges, customers should remove and discard the old nozzle, attach the new one, and begin dispensing. It is crucial to remove excess adhesive from the work area and equipment before it hardens, and customers can use common solvents or citrus cleaners to do so. The LOCTITE Hysol E-05CL is an industrial-grade epoxy adhesive that is fast-setting, medium-viscosity, and toughened. It forms an ultra-clear bondline with excellent peel resistance when it cures at room temperature with low shrinkage. This two-component epoxy is also resistant to various chemicals and solvents and serves as an excellent electrical insulator. It can bond plastic, metal, glass, wood, ceramic, rubber, and masonry materials, making it ideal for flexible applications such as flex circuits, cable boots, and staking fillet bonds.
