Thank you for considering our LOCTITE Threadlocker products for your metal fastener needs. Get ready to protect your metal fasteners with LOCTITE Nut & Bolt Threadlocker 2-Blue 242 and 1-Blue 271! This package includes all three newly packaged products, each containing 0.20 fl oz. Keep your threads safe from rust and corrosion, and prevent loosening caused by vibrations with this medium strength threadlocker. On the other hand, the BLUE 271 is recommended for metal fasteners up to 1" (up to 25 mm) in diameter. It's ideal for bolts on internal engines, auto frames, auto suspension, and wheel studs. The BLUE 242 is recommended for metal fasteners ranging from 1/4" (6 mm) to 3/4" (19 mm) in diameter. It's perfect for bolts on small engines, swing sets, and furniture. Keep in mind that this threadlocker is not recommended for plastic parts, especially thermoplastic materials that could potentially lead to stress cracking of the plastic. It's also not suitable for pure oxygen and/or oxygen rich systems or as a sealant for chlorine or other strong oxidizing materials.
