They are refurbished and in good condition with possible minor scuffs and scratches. They come with a NEW straight USB cable and they are guaranteed to work. These are typically used with a retail POS point of sale setup with a PC computer. It is plug and play with all newer Windows OS versions including XP, Vista, and Windows 7. More information and drivers can be found on the manufacturer's website here. After testing we usually set each scanner back to the factory default setting so let me know if instead you would prefer it to be set to do an enter command after each scan. I guarantee them to work.
