Lot of 2 Allen Bradley PLC-5 Processors 1785-L20B Defective, For Parts or Repair This is a lot of 2 processors from Allen Bradley for the PLC-5 family of PLC's. One processor is a 1785-L20B, SER A, and the other is a 1785-L20B, SER C. Both processors are defective and are being sold for parts or repair (details below). Because these modules do not work as expected, they sold AS IS and there are NO RETURNS. Please keep this in mind before making a purchase. Note that the winning bidder gets both processors for the winning price. Here are the details on these processors. The 1785-L20B, SER A does power up, but status LEDs for channels A and B stay on continuously and are red in color. They do not go through the normal sequence of flashing different colors and then turning off. This is probably indicative of a "hard fault" condition, or hardware defect. The 1785-L20B, SER C has some damage on the end of the main bus connector. The gold connector fingers on each side are damaged. This is shown in photos 9 and 10. Because of the damaged connector fingers, we did not attempt to plug this processor into a rack for testing. I would rate the cosmetic condition of these processors as generally good. They are clean and in decent shape, but do have a some scuffs and blemishes from use. Please see the photos for the condition of this item. Note that this processors do not include the terminal blocks, batteries, battery covers, or keys. The photos show that these parts are missing and not included.
