Description: BroadLogic expands its range of satellite receivers, routers with the Satellite Express XR1 / FT. This device with high data rates and fault tolerance is for Internet service providers such as Europe On Line or telecommunications operators. Connected between a Fast Ethernet LAN and a satellite transponder, it delivers services in IP multicast, that is to say several extensions at once, without loss of performance in order to deliver a flow rate of 68 Mbit / s and increase the bandwidth of 8%. With its fault-tolerance functions, if a receiver fails, the other units are notified and automatically take over to ensure continuity of service. XR1 / FT also includes administration and supervision tools. Besides the standard functions of remote monitoring and retrieving SNMP information, it is compatible with IGMP (Internet group management protocol), which automatically detects the client workstations on the network. Through an integrated Web server, the administrator configures the routing to subnets via a simple Internet browser. XR1 / CFT is available in size 19-inch rack.
