Lot of 3 Cans of T.A.L. 5 - Each can 2 ounces In 1996, WD-40 developed and launched a new product, T.A.L. 5, a premium, extra-strenth lubricant.  The initials stand for "Triple Additive Lubricant". Unfortunately, in 1999, the company discontinued sales of T.A.L. 5 as the product fell short of attaining its annual sales.   This product is extremely difficult to find.   This product is considered "industrial" lubricant compared to WD-40 which is "light duty".  People swear by this product for resurrecting electric motors with terminal death rattle.  Others have raved about its use as gun oil, as well as any situation that requires an extra-strength oil.
