They are the number 11-782-B, Nickel Zinc Ferrite ceramic spacer/ bead/ bushing/ tube. They are in new mint condition being NOS (New Old Stock). They are made from Nickel Oxide, Zinc Oxide, and Iron Oxide. This material has high hardness, very high stiffness, very good corrosion resistance to chemicals at high temperature, and use temperature. They may be used for a variety of electrical, mechanical, and thermal applications. They may be used as stand offs for firing parts in a kiln. They may also be used for jewelry. They may also be used as “Wireless Heating Elements” in the microwave. Using fibrous thermal insulation the Ferrites will absorb the microwave and convert it to infrared radiation, i.e. red heat.
