I was trying to find a used Miller AC/DC tig welder. But most of them are more than $1,500. I was introduced by one of my friends who purchased a Lotos plasma cutter a few years ago. I have been welding with oxy tig torch. It’s the first time to learn aluminum welding. This tig works great on both steel and aluminum. I tried both 1/4 ” stainless steel and aluminum. It works pretty well. The machine operation is pretty straight forward, especially if you have never used tig before. For $899 bucks, what else can I ask for? I do a lot of car restorations, and wished I had one of these units years ago. The welder description and shipping was top-notch, setup was a snap, and the machine performs flawlessly for aluminum tig welding. I have not tried aluminum stick welding.
