Prices may vary based on location) Small Platform Table Top: 3' x 2' Travel Our small platform CNC routers are built for accuracy and precision for 2D and 3D cutting. The machines are made from a combination 8020 aluminum extrusions and machined 6061 Aluminum. These machines can be used for production cutting and/or Prototyping. Applications includes Foam, Plastics, Carbon fiber, Wood, Aluminum, brass and others. Call a K2 expert to find out about your specific material. Our small platform machines are built with high tolerance ball screws or lead screws, rigid linear guide ways, and large DC servo motors with high encoder counts for precision movement. Our machines are manufactured and assembled in USA by highly trained and skilled technicians. Standard Equipment CNC Frame K2CNC frame is made of 6061 machine grade aluminum and 8020 extrusions. The frame is precision machined from elite large format CNC machines in Orange, Ca. The frame includes rigid linear guide ways, precision ball screws , easy access grease ports, Cable carriers, and Home switches. It comes with a Z axis of 8" of clearance and 8" of travel. The standard frame is designed to hold a router only or light weight products 8lbs. or less . A HD upgrade is required to mount a spindle or aggregates over 8lbs. Control Box Our K2MC Control box is made with a DSP based motion control board with custom servo drives. Our control box gets accurate real time feedback of positioning keeping your system fully closed loop. The machine comes standard with DC servo motors with 1000 line encoders allowing for precision movements. K2MC control box connects via USB drive and runs on 64 bit computers. Computer & Control Software Included is K2MC control software and a new laptop computer specially configured to operate your machine. It is fully tested with the machine prior to shipping T-Slot Table Top K2CNC's T-slot table top is designed for the end user to easily create clamping solutions. The plate is 3/4" thick and has slots spaced 2" apart. The slots are designed to fit 1/4-20 bolt heads or nuts to allow you to fixture your parts many ways and easily. Machine comes fully assembled, tested and boxed in a wooden crate. The price includes the above items.
