Really nice Cincinnati "Tray top" metal lathe. I'm not sure on the year, but think its a 1963. Not seen much used, originally owned by Ford Motor company and used in their maintenance department, I haven't used it much either in my shop. Very hard to find a good, low use, American made lathe like this one. Built like a tank-this is much more machine than an import lathe. Ways are in beautiful condition. Single phase (230 volt) Baldor motor. Not all the stuff on the machine goes with it (as in the pictures its sitting in my shop) things like the lapping compound, mandrels, and mag base indicator don't go with it. The stuff that does, is the face plate, 3 jaw chuck, collet setup, Hardinge Collet set (1AM), several wrenches for the machine, rocker toolpost and some holders. There are a few minor things that need taken care of-I have the door for the machine, but when I got the machine, the hinges were broken on it, and I never got around to fixing it. One of the bolts on the compound is stripped and a new one needs made. There is a slow oil leak on the headstock of the machine, its taken about 5 years for the oil level to go down.  I very much encourage you, if you're serious, to come look at this machine in person. While I know machine tools, and think this is a really nice one from what I have seen from years of attending auctions, visiting machinery dealers, etc, some may have a different view of what "really nice" and "low use" is, therefore come look and form your own opinion.  Sold as is, where is, I will assist in loading for free, safe load securement and transportation is the buyers responsibility. Thanks for looking!
