Up for auction: Two Starrett 161-B Toolmakers' Parallel Clamps with maker marking "The L.S. Starrett Co. , Athol Mass U.S.A., No.. 161-B, Made in U.S.A." on just one bar of each clamp. The knurled head of the adjusting screw has a retaining clip engaging the slot on the screw head. The clamps have 1-3/4" in open jaw capacity and 1" in throat depth. The jaw bars are 7/16" wide. They are manufactured with hardened steel and have a nice rust free, finish. One Starrett 161-B Toolmakers' Parallel Clamps with maker marking "The L.S. Starrett Co. , Athol Mass U.S.A." on one bar and "No. 161B" on the other bar. The knurled head of the adjusting screw has NO retaining clip engaging the slot on the screw head. The clamp has 1-3/4" in open jaw capacity and 1" in throat depth. The jaw bars are 1/16" wider than the bar width of the other two 161-B clamps. It is manufactured with hardened steel and has a nice rust free, finish. Two Starrett 161AA type Toolmakers' Parallel Clamps with no maker marking on either clamp. The clamps have 3/4" in open jaw capacity and 21/32" in throat depth. The jaw bars on both 161AA type clamps are 5/16" wide. They are manufactured with hardened steel and has a nice rust free, finish exactly like the 161-B type clamps. These are useful clamps for holding work together in tapping and drilling and on various machine setups, not display items.
