This scaler is in great condition. It has been successfully checked with a pulser. The unit was also checked and works with batteries. Tested with a laudlum 44-9 probe using an old compass. The battery cove is missing 2 of the 4 thumb screws. This does not affect operation. Be sure to check the photos. The scaler comes with the power cord.
