This vintage brass and glass Lunkenheimer (No 0 marked 1298 and Royal) valve is about 3 3/4 inches in length. It was made in the USA and looks like it may be for a steam engine, hit and miss. The condition is very good and because it's not all dirty or greasy, it might have been put away as a spare part. Looks like it may not have been used.
