The open-ended rotors are housed in heavy-duty steel for optimal durability. This lock has an opening that is 25.5" wide with 15" between the ends of the paddles. The MacDonald Steel Environmental Systems' Rotary Air Lock is a top-quality product manufactured in Canada. For easy access and maintenance, the rotor housing comes with a removable side plate. This air lock is specially designed to transfer non-stringy materials from one air system component to another without compromising a required vacuum or causing pressurization. With up to six flexible neoprene-steel backed wipers, the air seal maintained by this lock is tight and positive at all times. The vanes of the rotor tips come with bolted neoprene wipers for easy maintenance and upkeep. Model 1081D000 with serial number RA177 comes with a Leeson motor (C182T17FC24E) with 3HP, 3Phase, and a rotating speed of 1740 RPM while operating on 208-230/460V.
