You are bidding on a Large Machined Graphite Crucible. The dimensions are shown on a sectional view drawing included as a picture. The weight of the crucible is approximately 7 lbs.  The calculated capacity to the brim is 206 cubic inches, which holds 28.3 Kilos of Brass or 65.5 Kilos of gold (I'm sure we melt that much gold all the time). That is how I put the description in the title. If there is another rule about rating the size based on kilos, please let me know. This is a surplus unused item from a national lab facility used to prepare high grade experiments, often for future irradiation. I have two sizes, (You can see the other on another auction). One of the small sizes was etched with ATJ, which is a very fine grained pure graphite grade. The grain appears very fine from the appearance of the crucibles (please examine photos) Please ask any questions prior to purchase. You can see based on the feedback that I try to keep my customers satisfied, so buy with confidence.
