 Machined Metal Lab ware: Possibly Centrifuge Rack & Bowls EXPENSIVE LOOKING! (see photos to decide for yourself, no guarantees to what this is, decide for yourself. Plus you get a lid looking thing that was in the same box of stuff (see the last 5 photos for that)... It does not sit flush on top of this, so not certain it goes with this thing I think is a rack... but you get... see photo for Andersen part numbers etc.  (RAAS-2.5-300) Obtained in box of lab ware from UNLV surplus auction.  As you can surmise from my title, I am not a scientist! Not 100% sure what this is, but it does look like high end pricey stuff. Metal baskets are attached to base by springs, so I Think this rack goes in a centrifuge to spin the samples. If anyone knows for sure and feels like telling me, I would appreciate it. Weighs about 3 pounds (rack only, not the lid)... see photos for exact weight and dimensions. This is high end machined lab ware or whatever and it probably costs hundreds and hundreds of dollars, and your getting it for not that much, so be sure you want it... not returns. :)
