For sale is small Machinist's Set Up Screw Jack, 2.5" height, up to 4.5" extended. Small jacks like this are handy for many things, such as leveling work on planer beds, surface grinders, upright drills, setting up machinery, and for general use in the tool room and machine ship. The maximum 4.5" height is with three threads engaged on both screws. The swiveling head has a small point in the center, useful in many situation, but could be easily removed, depending on the use. I've had and used this jack occasionally over the past fifty years! 7 oz. This item comes from a well maintained shop. All parts have been carefully inspected, and any imperfections are fully disclosed in the listing. Please send any questions. Seller has extensive background with tools. He worked for the WHOLE EARTH CATALOG from '69 through '71 as a **Tools Guy** as well as photographer and proofreader. ("Fred says:", well, that's him when he was a whole lot younger.) Shipping: We are on a small island with mail and parcel service only three times a week, on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. For a parcel to go out, it has to be processed before noon.
