Buyer 'Frank', after receiving one of these said "great item, fair price,no hassle transaction..highly recommend seller A+++++" - Naturally, I agree! Buyer 'Bradley' said "A++++++" Buyer 'Terry' said "Great Shipper" Buyer 'Jim' said "Good deal, reliable seller"  This is a shop-made 3/8" x 6" soft brass drift punch which is useful for pounding out steel bearings or other similar applications where you don't want to damage the item being removed. I needed one of these and didn't want to pay an arm and a leg for a commercial punch that I'd just hammer the bejeesus out of, so I got some brass rod from our local supplier and made one for my own use. You're getting a piece of the leftover brass made into a nice cushioned handle punch. Brass is softer than steel and won't cause a dimple or otherwise damage whatever is being removed. After significant use the head may 'mushroom' a bit and then you can grind it back down to extend the tool life. We make these out of fine quality round brass rod and add a cushioned handle (a bit of neoprene fuel line hose) to improve your grip and reduce transmitted vibration. You get a better 'feel' than a knurled surface and it doesn't roll away from you as badly as a non-cushioned round punch does. Although we call this a 'drift punch' it is not actually tapered as a real 'drift' is. Most similar punches on eBay are also not tapered. Works well for its intended purpose. (Tape measure for dimensional reference only - not included in auction)
