Machinist Parallel Clamps Shop-made - Exceptional Workmanship

US $250

This auction is for a pair of shop-made machinist parallel clamps.  They are of the highest quality.  The pair weight about 3 1/2-pounds. As there is no stamped manufacturer’s name on them, they can only be labeled as shop-made.  There is nothing engraved or scratched into the jaws either. These clamps are examples of exception workmanship.  Whoever made these was a highly skilled machinist who had the highest level of pride in workmanship. The jaws have an indent in the jaw by the front screw so there is no binding.  The rear rounded part of the jaws have been ground very smooth, as have all the corners and edges.  Either someone made a jig to run these along a grinder/buffer, or they have the steadiest hands.  The knurling is stunningly well done. I used these to glue small wood parts for making miniatures, so I cleaned them very well with brake cleaner and kept them that way. Shipping will be via USPS Priority Mail which includes a USPS Tracking Number.  This is the least expensive shipping method because of the weight of these clamps [about 3 1/2-pounds]. Pick-up is OK; please bring cash. Payment: Checks from Bank of America, personal or business, are acceptable. The check has to clear before shipping, which will be quickly as the BoA branch is a block away.  Otherwise its PayPal. I like an informed buyer, please ask questions.
