The MachTach is a machine tachometer kit which is used to display the RPM and SFM of any machine tool. Requires Assembly. The MachTach can be added to lathes, mills, drill presses, sanders, conveyor belts, or any machine where you want to know it's speed in revolutions per minute, surface feet per minute, or meters per minute. It requires only a simple sensor to measure RPM and SFM. The reflective sensor, cable and reflective patches are included. The MachTach can also be used with optional slotted and code wheel setups or with a Hall Effect sensor and magnets. Installation with the reflective sensor is easy. Just mount the pickup on an L bracket and mount it where it can view anywhere from 1 to 60 reflective patches which are included on any shaft, pulley or other rotating part. MachTach assembly is easy for anyone that has soldered before. The MachTach can be assembled as a full size board or the compact half size module. The price for either kit is the same. Includes: Complete MachTach kit with cable, reflective sensor, reflective patches, and mounting spacers. Requires either your 9V wall transformer or an optional $11 wall transformer available from us.
