Macklanburg-Duncan SmartDot Builder's High Precision Laser Level System with Surveyors tripod MD  Excellent condition. This was used by my dad for Kitchen cabinet layouts, it is in super clean condition. The aluminum surveyors tripod is system matched and very heavy duty; can be used indoors and outdoors for things like foundation layouts. Has spike feet with legs that extend from 39” up to 60”. Includes the level, base, case, 90’ prism, manual, some targets, and the tripod. Made in USA including the tripod!  Listed by other eBay sellers for $299 for just the main level unit (no tripod), you can have the full system for less.   Information from the manufacturer: The SmartDot Builder's Laser provides the perfect visible reference line for your most difficult layout and measuring jobs. The beam, centered 1 inch above the bottom surface of the unit, is perfectly straight and extends out 100 feet and more. The Leveling Base can used by itself of mounted on a standard surveyor's tripod (not included). Includes a right angle prism that can be attached to the unit to bend the beam 90 degrees for right angle layout work. In addition to bending the beam 90 degrees, the right angle prism can be rotated through 360 degrees to define a plane in space which is at right angles to the bottom measuring surface of the level.  High Precision Features:  Level Vial - 6 times more sensitive for greater long distance accuracy (7 arc minutes) Vial Accuracy is ±0.017 degrees or ± 1/4" at 70 feet Laser Beam - 2.5 times brighter for easier visibility in sunlight (bright 650 nanometer wavelength) Leveling Base - For accurage 360 degree horizontal rotation Pentaprism for accurate 90 degree alyout Laser Dot - Precision optics for concise round dot Leveling Base Targets - two types to help laser light more visible including retro-reflective material Box Frame - Rugged aluminum frame Carrying Case RETAIL $359 (NOT INCLUDING THE SURVEYORS TRI-POD)
