This is a new roll of enameled 14 AWG copper wire, made by Essex USA. Originally purchased in Sept. from Temco Industrial to custom-wind a motor armature, but after using about 25 feet, I realized that the gauge/size was too large. So I'm selling the remainder of the roll, never uncoiled, on it's original spool.  I paid $93 for it.  The stated length and weight reflect the 25 feet removed. NOTE: The enamel insulation on this wire is double thick, flexible and retains its integrity/insulating properties well during winding/installation. But when finally connecting/soldering it into your project, this insulation must be completely removed from the connection area first, by sanding, scraping etc. (I heated/burned the ends first, then sanded. Also had success by gently "dremeling" off the insulation with a small sanding drum). Specifications:  14 AWG solid round copper (99.9% pure) - Insulation Temperature Rating:  200 degrees C  (392 degrees F) - Weight: approx 7.3 lbs.   - Length: approx 565 ft. - Enamel Coating Type: Base Coat - modified polyester resin.                                         Overcoat - modified amide imide resin. - Coating Build: double (heavy) - Wire Diameter: 0.0675" (1.7145mm) average - Approvals:  NEMA MW 35-C,  IEC (60317-13, 60317-25, 60317-29),   UL Recognized (File: E32638) - Made in USA Applications:  Transformers, motors, inductors, generators, antennas,                           Tesla coils, solenoids, arts and crafts etc.
