Up for auction, with no reserve, is an almost full reel of AWG 26 (.0159") enameled copper wire used for magnet winding.  This "new" wire was made in 1943 by Belden Mfg. Co, Chicago, Illinois.  The current weight is 4.87 (of the original 5.53 lbs.), meaning that there is 4.5 lbs. (or approximately 6,000 feet)of remaining wire.
