These rare earth, neodymium-iron-boron CUBE magnets are new, and are triple plated with nickel/copper/nickel to prevent corrosion. The thick plating and the beveled edges help to minimize magnets being damaged easily, as is often the case with larger NdFeB magnets. Neodymium magnets will not loose their magnetism from coming into close proximity to other strong magnets nor from smacking together.
