This was shipped to me from Subway corporate 2 weeks before the store closed. I know they use a Verifone reader now as standard, but I also know these still work with the Subway POS systems.  Always good to have a backup for when the Verifone reader fails on you. The cord will break over time, as you know. Sure, Subway will send you a new one, but what about those few days in between??? Get this for a little peace of mind.
